This website (lissonhifi.com.au) is operated by Lisson HiFi (ABN: 97 662 026 674), trading as Lisson HiFi. By accessing, browsing or purchasing from this website ("Site"), you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions ("Terms") and the Privacy Policy.
Acceptance and Eligibility
By using this Site, you confirm that:
These Terms and the Privacy Policy have been read and understood.
You have the legal capacity to enter into a binding agreement or have obtained the consent of a parent or legal guardian.
Users must be at least 13 years of age to access the Site or place an order.
Nature of the Products
Lisson HiFi specialises in collectible and vintage audio equipment, primarily manufactured between the 1970s and 1990s.
Unless expressly stated otherwise, all products are pre-owned and vintage and may display signs of age, wear and previous use consistent with their era.
Product descriptions are prepared in good faith and are intended to accurately reflect each item's condition, originality and functionality at the time of sale.
Orders
Placing an order through the Site constitutes an offer to purchase the selected products at the advertised price, including applicable taxes and delivery charges.
Lisson HiFi reserves the right to accept or reject any order at its discretion, including where products become unavailable, pricing errors occur or fraudulent activity is suspected. A binding agreement is formed only once payment has been received and an order confirmation has been issued.
Customers are responsible for reviewing all order details before submitting an order.
Pricing and Payment
All prices are listed in Australian Dollars (AUD) and include GST where applicable. Due to the size, weight and delicate nature of vintage audio equipment, delivery charges are quoted individually for each order.
Payment for the equipment must be made in full at the time of purchase using the payment methods available on the Site. Where delivery is required, any applicable freight charges will be quoted separately and must be paid prior to dispatch.
Payments processed through third-party providers, including PayPal and buy now, pay later services, remain subject to the terms and conditions of those providers.
Fraudulent or unlawful payments will not be accepted. All transactions are subject to verification.
Availability and Cancellation
All products are offered subject to availability. As many items are one-of-a-kind or limited vintage pieces, availability may change without notice.
Lisson HiFi reserves the right to cancel an order prior to dispatch where a product becomes unavailable, has been incorrectly listed or cannot be supplied due to circumstances beyond reasonable control.
Where an order is cancelled, a full refund or store credit will be offered.
Delivery, Title and Risk
Delivery is currently available throughout Australia. International shipping may also be available by prior arrangement. Customers wishing to purchase from outside Australia are encouraged to contact Lisson HiFi before placing an order to discuss available freight options, estimated costs and any applicable import duties, taxes or customs requirements.
Any customs duties, import taxes, brokerage fees or other charges imposed by the destination country remain the responsibility of the purchaser.
Delivery timeframes are estimates only and are not guaranteed.
Title to goods remains with Lisson HiFi until payment has been received in full. Risk passes to the purchaser upon delivery to the nominated address.
Customers are responsible for ensuring delivery details are accurate and that suitable arrangements are made to receive the goods.
Returns and Australian Consumer Law
Change of Mind
Due to the vintage and collectible nature of the products offered, change-of-mind returns are not accepted.
Any exception is entirely at the discretion of Lisson HiFi and, where approved, may be subject to deductions for freight, handling and restocking costs.
Australian Consumer Law
Nothing contained within these Terms excludes, restricts or modifies any rights available under the Australian Consumer Law (ACL).
Where a product experiences a major failure, customers are entitled to the remedies available under the ACL, including repair, replacement or refund.
For failures that are not major, Lisson HiFi may elect to repair or replace the item within a reasonable period.
Unless otherwise required by law, return shipping costs remain the responsibility of the customer.
Custom Sourcing and Future Services
Where specific equipment is sourced on behalf of a customer, separate terms, deposits or non-refundable payments may apply. Any such conditions will be communicated before an order is confirmed.
Should servicing, restoration or repair services be introduced in the future, those services will be governed by separate terms and conditions.
Intellectual Property
All content appearing on this Site, including text, photography, logos, graphics and branding, is owned by or licensed to Lisson HiFi and is protected by Australian and international intellectual property laws.
No content may be copied, reproduced, published or distributed without the prior written permission of Lisson HiFi.
Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law:
Liability is limited to the amount paid for the relevant product.
Lisson HiFi is not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential loss, including loss of profit, business or opportunity.
Liability does not extend to delays or failures arising from circumstances beyond reasonable control.
Privacy
Personal information is collected for the purpose of processing orders, providing services and communicating with customers.
Information may be shared with trusted third-party providers, including payment processors and freight providers, where necessary to fulfil an order.

General
Disputes: Any dispute should first be addressed through good-faith discussions before legal proceedings are commenced.
Amendments: These Terms may be updated from time to time by publishing the revised version on this Site.
Severability: If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect.
Governing Law: These Terms are governed by the laws of Victoria, Australia.
